Remember the good ole days–roller skates, ice cream, barbershop music? Well, we can’t help you get into your old skates (or keep you from crashing if you do!), but we can point you in the direction of some good, old-fashioned barbershop tunes.
The Virginians Barbershop Chorus, an award-winning 40-man chorus and chapter quartet group will be performing on Saturday, April 30 at 7:30 p.m. and May 1 at 2:30 p.m., at the Camp Concert Hall in University of Richmond’s Modlin Center for the Arts. This year’s show is called Return to Duffy’s Diner and it will feature a delicious four-part harmony with healthy helpings of light-hearted fun and nostalgic melodies.
Get your tickets, which cost $18 for adults and $15 for seniors, online or by calling 1-866-VA-SINGS. We’ll be happy to suggest some diners on the way if you want to share a strawberry shake and burger on the way to the show.
