One of your only chances to see a large body of Picasso’s work comes exclusively to Richmond’s Virginia Museum of Fine Arts February 19 through May 15. “Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musée National Picasso, Paris” will showcase 176 works from Picasso’s personal collection, and is being called the most important exhibition ever to visit the VMFA. The VMFA is the only museum on the East Coast that will host the show during its seven-city tour.
If you haven’t visited the newly renovated VMFA yet, this is the perfect time to plan your visit. Make sure you also stop at the museum’s new, contemporary fine-dining restaurant, Amuse, which serves lunch and dinner in a unique atmosphere.
