No matter the time of day, the peaceful and reflective Japanese gardens at Maymont, Richmond’s own 100-acre Victorian estate with elaborate gardens and grounds, are a highlight, but they are particularly romantic when you view them at night. Friday, March 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. during the Full Moon Hike is your chance to explore them in their evening splendor with a horticulturist to guide you and tell you about the beautiful plants you’re viewing.
