This food festival that benefits the Central Virginia Food Bank and Meals on Wheels takes place June 5 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Richmond along Broad Street. The area’s finest restaurants set up shop, and each serves several delicious dishes for $3 a pop. Way cool, right?!
Farmers, food producers and local vendors will also be there, along with 10 bands, live-cooking demos and a kids’ area. Richmond magazine also presents awards for main dish, dessert, ambiance, healthy plates and people’s choice.
In all, it’s a definite day of epicurean awesomeness in Richmond. Admission is free.
