One of Richmond’s craziest holiday shopping events returns the weekend of December 3rd at the Richmond Raceway Complex. Five hundred juried exhibitors selling all sorts of gifty goodness will fill four buildings for four days of shopping craziness at the 35th Bizarre Bazaar. The event runs from Thursday (12/2) through Saturday (12/4) from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday (12/5) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Biz Baz certainly does get busy, but vendors span distinctive local merchants as well as some neat national vendors, so it’s a great place to knock a bunch of holiday shopping off your list. There’s clothing, jewelry, home decor, gourmet food and more.
Tickets cost $7 and are available to purchase online, at Murphies in Carytown or Tweed in Short Pump, or at the door. You can also buy a re-entry pass for $1 in case you wanna stash your loot in your trunk throughout the day.
If you know you wanna go, we suggest getting your tickets in advance so you can skip the lines and get down to serious shopping on the day of. Another insiders’ tip: go early. The later the day gets, the more crowded the event gets and the more you’ve gotta squeeze to find the best stuff. Happy shopping!
