Richmond, it seems, is the city of restaurant weeks. We’ve got two citywide food-filled weeks, a new one in Carytown (we’ll post details soon), and one in Shockoe Bottom and Slip that returns at the end of July. Sampling Shockoe takes place from Monday, July 25, through Sunday, July 31.
During this week, the participating fine-dining establishments will offer a three-course meal for $30 per person. For the most part, reservations are recommended since seats fill fast. For the first time this year, selected restaurants are also offering a $10 lunch option. This was a way to incorporate places that don’t have a $30 price point to start.
