Hot, steamy, soupy goodness is back again. This Saturday (11/6) is your chance to fill up on that veggie-packed tomato-based stew that everyone around these parts seems to have their own recipe for. The 11th Annual Brunswick Stew Festival at the 17th Street Farmers’ Market runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and brings a host of stew-makers, each with their own recipe containing a special blend of beans, meats and vegetables. Guests can buy half-cup samples of the good stuff, along with larger quantities to take home and enjoy later. Along with some stew-slurpin’ fun, the festival also brings live music, other fair foods, and crafts. If you want to try all the stews, we suggest you head there early. The festival sells out almost every year.
