Anastasia’s whereabouts may never have been discovered, but you can get a taste of the elegance experienced during her family’s reign when the largest collection of Fabergé goes on display at the VMFA. From July 9 through October 2, Fabergé Revealed will showcase more than 500 objects created for the Russian imperial family by jeweler Karl Fabergé in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
This largest public collection of the beautiful accessories and eggs outside Russia will feature five of the crazy intricate, delicate 13 Russian imperial Easter eggs that are in the United States. The exhibition will feature the VMFA’s own Fabergé collection, which is one of the finest in the United States, along with donations from three additional collections. Tickets to the event cost $15 for adults and $12 for seniors age 65+. You can buy them online or in person at the event.
