Raise a baguette, beret, bon bon or bottle of bordeaux—Bastille Day is this Thursday, July 14! You can get in on France’s national celebration at two restaurants here in town.
Amour Wine Bistro is offering a four-course French dinner for $45 at 7 p.m. made up of two appetizers and two entrees each paired with a three-ounce glass of wine. Highlights from the menu include prosciutto-wrapped melon with locally grown radicchio, toasted pine nuts and Vidalia vinaigrette and bacon-wrapped New York sirloin served with a cracked mustard duxelle cream. Go here to see the full lineup. Reservations are recommended for this event. Call 353-4020 to book your seats.
Bistro Bobette is also celebrating in grandiose fashion with an indulgent, three-course fois gras menu for $34. There’ll also be all-you-can-eat mussels for $24. There is limited seating for both of these tasty sounding meal choices, so call 225-9116 to reserve a spot.
À votre santé!
